I'm too old for feelin' how I am
In this economy
Trying to hit the lottery
When it's a scam
In dizzy motion
Still busy hopin'
I can open what is closed
While holdin' onto childish tropes
You know it
No one understands

I got the wrong look
It won't align with their brand
Oh no
Just thought if I played it right
They still might see me in the stands

I've got to get closure
And lots to get over
When these shoulders start to get colder
I say it's alright
Then spiral out and analyze it
The whole night
It's a process though
Try to see it
Philosophical
Feelin' unreasonable
What I've got is a bit out of season
I know what they say I can't start to believe it

Or maybe it's just all in my head
Growing poison trees from seeds of what some people said
